It's so cute! It's the Japanese version of Meteor Garden. But you know, the original story is in japanese.
Inoue Mao as Makino Tsukushi is great!

I haven't watched, I guess cause I didn't really like Meteor Garden haha, so is the Jap drama version better?

IMHO. The Japanese version is better! :)

i heard though that this version is not a big hit unlike the tw version of meteor garden.
i am thankful for MG since it was the very first asian series that i got so addicted, if not for that i wouldn't get introduced to k-series also.
MG for me is still one of the best and made me appreciate asian culture more.

I guess one of the reasons why MG is such a big hit is cause of F4 ;)
but well, I still am not into Taiwan dramas... though I have a few favorite Taiwan singers like David Tao, Jay, Jolin, S.H.E etc

^^^yeah, F4was the main factor why MG was a big hit plus the fact that the story was also really good.

I've seen the first 2 episodes of the 2nd installment, and they're great!
The premiere was two hours long and had me wanting to see the next
episode. The second episode had me laughing and crying at the same
time. Impatiently waiting for the 3rd episode.
By the way, all four of the guys look hotter than in the 1st installment.

i watched all the series and the movie...and it was great...i just love inoue mso she's like my favorite japanese actress....they are cute together with matsumoto jun...i hope they will work together..i miss them both..you know what whenever i watched their drama i always wear a stupid smile..i just can't help it..ahhhh i just love this couple. :wub:
